05.06.2020

Atos, a global leader in digital transformation, highlighted the main technological trends of the post-pandemic world at one of the event of Russian Business Week 2020 with representatives of leading foreign and national companies, as well as government institutions.

At the International Forum “Regulatory system and investment environment in Russia under new conditions: meeting strategic objectives and managing COVID-19 pandemic impact”, supported by the In ternational Council for Cooperation and Investments (ICCI), participants discussed key aspects of creating a favorable climate for doing business in the context of the need to overcome the post-pandemic period.

The participants also proposed different approaches for development of the regulatory system for individual sectors at the Russian and international levels, and also shared their views on the priorities and prospects for the global business cooperation development.

Edgars Puzo, CEO of Atos Russia and CIS, presented a report in the sector “Developing the regulatory system: increasing the efficiency of industries” and highlighted 10 technological trends formulated by the European Commission. Their development in the near future is justified by the current situation: artificial intelligence, blockchain, open-source technologies, telehealth technologies, threedimensional printing, gene-editing technologies, nanotechnology, synthetic biology, drones, robots.

“The current crisis has become a catalyst for significant changes, it has given the world the unique opportunity to get closer through technologies. Now more than ever, data and the possibility of joint development are important, and it should not be hindered by import substitution or local politics. At the same time, building a mutually beneficial dialogue between the state, business and society must necessarily take into these IT trends, not only as sectoral features, but as global economic trends” – Edgars Puzo noted.
