Le cabinet Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners a le plaisir d’annoncer la nomination d’Anna Noumerova en tant qu’associée en droit de la concurrence à Moscou et celle de Michael Copeland au poste d’associé en droit des fusions et acquisitions et droit des sociétés à Londres.

 
Anna Numerova (Partner, Moscow) joined Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners as Counsel of Competition Practice in 2013. She has outstanding experience advising on a wide range of antitrust issues, including those related to M&A transactions and transfer of assets by large local and international companies in Russia and abroad. She also represents clients before the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia (FAS) as well as in arbitration courts, advises on various commercial and corporate law issues and conducts legal due diligence. Anna chairs the General Council of the Non-Profit Partnership for Competition Support, she is a member of the Government Commission on Competition and Development of Small and Medium-sized Businesses, a member of the Advisory Board on Advertising of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia and of the Non-Profit Partnership “CIS Competition Support Association”. She was involved in the development of the « Fourth antimonopoly package ». In 2015 Anna was awarded a Second-Class Medal of the Order of Merit for the Motherland. She also plays an active role in the steering committees of the International Bar Association (IBA) and the American Bar Association (ABA). Anna is an associate professor at the chair of the Federal Antimonopoly Service at the Higher School of Economics. She holds a Master’s degree in private law from Russia’s School of Private Law and an LL.M. in International Business and Economic Law from Georgetown University Law Center (USA).
 
Michael Copeland (Partner, London) is an English law qualified lawyer, advising on a wide range of M&A and corporate law issues. Michael relocated to Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners’ London office in 2015; previously he held the position of Counsel in Moscow, in the English law team led by Robin Wittering. Michael had been working in Russia for a total of 7 years since 2005. His previous experience includes work for an international law firm in London, Singapore and Moscow as well as a secondment with a major international oil company both in its London and Moscow offices. Michael graduated from the University of Nottingham (UK).
