Ekaterina Sannikova

Biography

Ekaterina Sannikova joined Deutsche Bank in 2003. Over the years she has held a number of positions in Rates and FX technology. Since 2014 she is the CEO of the Russia Technology Center, and since 2020 – Global Head of Trade Finance & Lending Technology.

Prior to joining the Bank, Ekaterina held various positions in Credit Suisse (London), BSKYB (London) and Sun Microsystems (Moscow).

She holds a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and System Programming from Moscow State University (1999).

Marion Laboure
PhD, Senior Research Analyst
Deutsche Bank & Lecturer at Harvard

Biography

Marion Laboure is covering payments, digital currencies and fintech at Deutsche Bank Thematic Research team. She also lectures finance at Harvard University. Prior to joining Harvard, she also taught at Yale University, Sciences Po Paris and University Paris Dauphine. Marion worked as an economist at the Luxembourg Central Bank, the European Commission and Barclays and was also a fellow researcher at the International Monetary Fund. She authored several books on capital markets and fintech and won several awards for her research including twice the first prize from the US Society of Actuaries. Marion holds a PhD in Economics from the Ecole Normale Superieure, and a Master's degree in Economics from the London School of Economics, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Finance from the University of Paris Dauphine. She speaks three languages and has lived and worked in five different countries.

 

Cristiano Avenia
Chief Information Security Officer for EMEA (ex. Germany)

Biography

Cristiano Avenia is Deutsche Bank’s Chief Information Security Officer for EMEA (ex. Germany). Throughout his 15 years with Deutsche Bank he has held a number of Information Security roles leading major cyber security projects and transformation initiatives around the globe. Cristiano has been following his passion for cyber security since university (Finance/Banking/IT degree) eventually turning his passion into his professional career. As CISO EMEA (ex. Germany) he is now responsible for the information security of Deutsche Bank’s assets and processes ensuring the security posture for our clients and partners.

Borislav Ivanov-Blankenburg

Biography

Borislav Ivanov-Blankenburg has 20 years of experience working with Deutsche Bank in Central and Eastern Europe. In 2014 – 2017 he held the position of CEO and Chairman of the Board of Deutsche Bank in Ukraine. Prior to this, he was Head of the Deutsche Bank Representative Office in Bulgaria. In 2000 – 2007 Borislav Ivanov-Blankenburg held several managerial positions in Deutsche Bank AG, Frankfurt related to Central & Eastern Europe strategy.

Borislav Ivanov-Blankenburg holds a diploma in Business Administration of the Free University of Berlin.

Nicolas Ducret
Deputy Director of French-Russian Chamber of Commerce

Biography

Nicolas Ducret is Deputy Director of CCI France Russie, Member of the Board of Directors of French Tech Moscow and co-founder of the start-up Nuage. Previously, he served as CFO of "Médecins du Monde" in Darfur, rode through Central Asia on horseback to Afghanistan, and toured the world by bicycle. He is also a show jumping rider and traveling writer. He graduated from ENS and IFG in geopolitics and from the Burgundy school of Business.
